Angelica’s values
I have always felt inspired by the strength that people show when faced with life challenges, and I am drawn towards supporting people through this process. I appreciate the courage that it takes to seek therapy and I aim to create a safe therapeutic space where I embark on a therapeutic journey with you to understand your struggles, how they came about, and how to work through them. I approach therapy with a kind, honest, and non-judgemental approach and hope to help you develop both innate and new skills to make sustainable changes to reconnect with yourself, your relationships, and the purpose of your life.
My main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I offer EMDR to people with experiences of trauma. I also provide therapy in Maltese.
Who does she work with?
I work with people across the lifespan who experience a range of problems including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, perfectionism, stress, burnout, work-related issues, bereavement, adjustment to physical health diagnoses, trauma, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. I specialise in working with mothers and fathers as they embark on the journey of parenthood and experience difficulties such as postnatal anxiety, depression, miscarriages, loss of a child, and trauma during childbirth. I also work with family members and carers of people with mental and physical health problems and support them to cope with the challenges of their caregiving roles. I work with professionals from Financial and Consulting services who are struggling with problems related to organisational pressures, stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and relationships.
