2 hour workshop, virtual via Zoom
What is this workshop about?
There is so much talk about well-being, but what does it actually mean?
This workshop offers you a simple and thorough model to help you understand what good mental well-being is and introduces you to the core tools about how we can maintain our mental well-being in work and life now.
What will you learn?
- how mental well-being is reduced by the external and internal (thoughts and feelings) stressors that we experience in work and life
- how our brains and bodies are designed to react to stressors
- why our patterns of coping are not always effective, leaving us feeling stuck in cycles of stress that reduce our general well-being, satisfaction and functioning
- core tools around self-awareness, mindfulness, and compassion and get a taster of how you can practice them so that you can go away and apply them in your life and work immediately after the workshop
